Taking Turns.

Sam and Stella are taking turns on who closes their eyes for the picture!! I cut Sam's hair last night and gave her some nice full blunt bangs...they look totatlly hot. I will try to get a picture of her with the "new do" before she heads back to ND. Thanks again Sam for watching Blu over Labor Day!! You are the BEST!! 

Walking for real!!

I think everyone thought I was crazy to say Stella's walking.....Well, she proved herself last night for Aunt A, Cousin Sam, and Daddy. She walked like 8 steps for everyone and then started clapping!! See...I ain't crazy!! I always tell everyone "She is very advanced for her age"...I am so excited I think I should call Dr. Patel with the good news!!

The Walker.

Stella is getting good at walking behind her new walker. I think she would have a better time if I cleared every last piece of furniture out of her way. By the way, she took 6 steps all on her own yesterday!! I knew she would be walking by Halloween, for trick or treating!! Yeahhhhh!!

Shopping

Stella likes to shop on her own. Here she is just browsing the retail area of our mist on tanning place. Alicia and I were in desperate need of a nice spray tan....we really wish we were half Latino so we would have a beautiful glow naturally...oh well Maui Mist On will have to do!! Blu just about talked me into getting her one of these fancy pieces of jewerly. I told her "maybe next time"...a very motherly quote I think I used to here quite a bit from my mom.

I have know idea what Stella did to get on the "bad girls" chalkboard. At least Louize has two more checks then Stella so I am not that concerned...yet!! 

Tailgating....

Chris, Kirk, Nick, Cortney, Jon, and Dan got together early this morning to go tailgating before the big Cardinals game. Chris had to get up early early to get his potato casserole in the oven....(what a bunch of girls)...whatever happened to brats, burgers, and chips??? They had a gourmet meal including steaks, (those Scottsdale boys!!!!) Cardinals lost.....again. I am sure Vera will be thrilled with the picture of Cortney licking the beer bottle!!! (Love you Cortney:)!!!)

Stella has the most beautiful, kissable cheeks. They get about 100 smooches a day. Her new favorite thing to do is make funny faces. I think its hysterical! Here she is just checkin' out the new kitchen chairs. She says they look and feel great...we'll keep them!! (Bungalow ROCKS) 

Knee Highs & a Jean Skirt.

It is pretty much fall in Phoenix...anything below 100 and put our fall stuff on. Stella loves her new knee highs, they make her look a bit older.

2 teeth.

Stella has her two bottom teeth, and a top one just pushed through. Dr. Patel said it is never to early to start brushing....we will start with a soft cloth. I can't wait for the cute little baby tooth brush, and bubble gum flavored toothpaste...YUM...(the whole family will use it)!!! 

Daddy's Day.

I left early this morning to meet Alicia for a "spa day"!! We enjoyed massages, facials, and manicures...and lunch of course!! Chris took care of Ms Blu for most of the day. They enjoyed a day of several football games...(um, it's still on...7:30 pm....when will it stop??) Stella was a great cheerleader, even though those damn Cards lost..oh well, she still looked super cute!!
